Video Submission Requirements
All video content must meet FAST broadcast standards for distribution across Viloud, Roku, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, and Pluto TV. Content not meeting these specs may be rejected or require re-encoding at the artist's expense.
Audio Submission Requirements
Audio quality is critical for broadcast. Poorly mixed or clipped audio is the most common reason for content rejection. All submissions must pass loudness normalization to ATSC A/85 standards used by FAST platforms.
- Audio clipping or distortion anywhere in the file
- Integrated loudness louder than โ18 LKFS (too hot for broadcast)
- Mono audio submitted as stereo (one channel silent)
- Audio out of sync with video by more than 1 frame
- Background music louder than dialogue/vocals
- Unmastered music tracks with excessive low-end buildup
Requirements by Content Type
Different programming types have specific additional requirements beyond the baseline specs. Review the requirements for your content category before submitting.
Metadata & File Delivery
Accurate metadata ensures your content is correctly catalogued in the EPG guide, attributed to you for revenue tracking, and discoverable by viewers. Missing metadata will delay your content going live.
